From Regent Street onwards...
The story of how I learned to read London
For years, I lived around the world with my husband Alessandro: Paris, Singapore, Beirut, the United States. In some cities, I worked, in others, I explored and shared everything on social media. I was good at showing people about other people's cities.
Then came London.
I'd been here for a few days when Alessandro called to ask where I was. I answered: Regent Street. Immediately afterward, I stopped at that name. Regent, what does it mean? That evening I searched and found a world: the Prince Regent, the madness of King George III, the architect Nash.
Since then, I haven't stopped. For the first time, I realized I wasn't describing a place of passage. I was describing my city.
Since 2019, I've been guiding people through London in a different way. Email me and tell me what you'd like to see.
